Her Highness Tunku Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, elder sister of Sultan of Johor, serves as Patron of P.S. the Children. In recognition of her leadership, creativity, and lifelong contributions to society, she was conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Creative Leadership in 2018. Limkokwing University’s Vice President of Corporate Relations described Her Highness as “coming from a family of great principled warriors and highly intelligent parents,” noting that she is both deeply knowledgeable and artistically inclined.
An accomplished artist in her own right, Tunku Kamariah officiated the opening of an art exhibition showcasing her own vibrant and expressive works alongside those of fellow artists, reflecting her commitment to creative expression and the arts. Beyond her artistic pursuits, she has consistently dedicated her life to service.
“Despite being born into a life of privilege and luxury, Her Highness Tunku Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah has devoted her life to caring for the unfortunate and the needy, supporting the education of underprivileged postgraduate scholars as a trustee of the Iskandar Foundation as well as caring for sexually abused children as patron of an organisation called P.S. the Children,” said Dato’ Haji Raja Aznil.
Her compassion, humility, and steadfast commitment to social responsibility continue to inspire and guide the organisations she supports.
